His varied background includes consulting, project management, purchasing contracted services, Information Technology, engineering, construction, and oil & gas.

He makes sure that each client’s ideas support their overall direction in life.
Michael enjoys working with retirees who are contemplating a second career as a business owner, but have never been in business for themselves before. Michael helps people who are thinking of using their retirement fund to start a business. He guides them through a process so they do not lose their nest egg due to poor planning of their new business venture.
He has an MBA Degree from Loyola University and is a lifelong learner. He is always looking for ways to improve and grow. He has maintained two certifications in areas related to Operations and Supply Chain: CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) from the old APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) now known as The Association for Operations Management and C.P.M. (Certified Purchasing Manager) issued by ISM (the Institute for Supply Management). He is a certified trainer of the Covey 7 Habits for Small Business Managers. Some of the seminars that Michael has taught include: Starting and Financing Your Business; Financial Statements; Marketing; Project Management; Business Plan Writing; and a two day Boots to Business for service members transitioning to civilian life.
Since 2007, Michael has assisted at the Louisiana Small Business Development Center Greater New Orleans Region helping business owners restart their businesses after natural disasters (Hurricanes Katrina, Gustav, and Isaac). Michael also works with people starting a business having helped develop business plans for over 60 small businesses.
